David and Deena are devout members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Their belief in God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost are among their most basic beliefs. They believe the Bible to be the word of God and consider it a foundation of their personal beliefs. They also believe the Book of Mormon (a record of early inhabitants and prophets of the American Continent covering a period from about 2200 B.C. to approximately 400 A.D.) to be the word of God. These two books bless their lives and bring them closer to God. They believe in continuing revelation; that God has not left us alone— but rather gives us prophets in our day to guide, direct, encourage and warn us against evils which can destroy us spiritually. It is a private institution, sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has become one of the most exciting universities in the world. It extends its influence to not only its 18,000 plus resident students on a three semester track system, but to thousands more assembled in clusters on-line throughout the world. Its extraordinary leaders are moving it forward in re-thinking and even re-defining higher education. You are invited to browse the university website.
